The Vibe Collab story

Role Agents—also called Vibe Collab—came from a simple frustration: collaboration with coding agents still leaves people doing manual handoffs. A frontend developer explains an API need in one place, a backend developer works somewhere else, and details get lost between chats, commits, and memory.

Created by Isaac Rufus (Oreo), Vibe Collab gives each collaborator a connected team of specialist agents around the same project. The goal is not merely to run several agents; it is to help the right people and agents stay aware of the work that depends on them.

What it helps solve

A frontend agent can carry a request to the backend side without a teammate having to write a separate handoff note. A backend agent can report an API change where the frontend work can see it. The shared room keeps the goal, requests, replies, and progress close together while Git keeps the project moving between collaborators.

Before you start

Role Agents requires a signed-in Kashira account and a project that is already Git-enabled. The project should have a usable branch and remote setup so collaborators can stay on the same moving project.

   Start from a project that is already initialized with Git.

   Use Kashira Cloud before opening a Role Agents room.

   Make sure the project is on the branch your collaborators expect to work from.

Build an agent team

Create a room, choose the roles your work needs, and set a lead agent to hold the overall direction. Use roles such as frontend, backend, full-stack, design, or review to give each agent a clear responsibility.

Work together in one room

Talk to the lead naturally, or mention a specialist directly when a request belongs to that role. Requests, replies, and handoffs stay visible to the room, helping human collaborators and agents work from the same shared understanding.

Stay connected to the project

As the team works, Role Agents keeps collaboration centered on the project’s Git workflow. This lets contributors focus on the product work instead of repeatedly relaying what changed, what is needed next, or which part of the project another person is waiting on.

Start with a focused collaboration

Begin with two or three roles for a contained feature: for example, frontend, backend, and review. Give the lead the goal and constraints, then ask the specialists to report their work before the lead brings the feature together.

Beta status

Role Agents is a new Kashira feature and remains in Beta while the collaboration experience grows. Start with a project and team you trust, keep review habits in place, and share feedback as you discover the workflows that matter most.
